Understand your coverage
Whether you are a new or returning member, it’s important to take a few minutes to review your member guide or handbook on the UPMC Health Plan member site or the UPMC Health Plan app. We update this each year, and the information it contains will help you take control of your health and your health care expenses. You must have a UPMC Health Plan login to access your guide or handbook online.

UPMC AnywhereCare
UPMC AnywhereCare1 is now seamlessly integrated into the member site and app, so you have virtual care at your fingertips 24/7 – with no need for a separate app! With UPMC AnywhereCare, you can talk with UPMC providers to get a diagnosis and treatment plan for nonemergency conditions. You can also connect with pharmacists, health coaches, and behavioral health specialists.2
UPMC Health Plan Virtual Concierge
Need quick answers to your health insurance questions? Looking for guidance on health-related topics? Our Virtual Concierge can help! It’s available 24/7 through the UPMC Health Plan member site and app, and you can use it to:
• Find a doctor or specialist.
• Access information on claims and coverage.
• Explore health-related topics and more.
If needed, the chatbot can connect you to a Health Care Concierge or health coach.
RxWell app
RxWell3 offers health and well-being support for UPMC Health Plan members. Its proven techniques are designed to help you achieve your goals on your own or with the support of a health coach. You can choose from 10 programs, including Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Weight Management, and Healthy Eating.

MyUPMC
MyUPMC4 is a free, secure online UPMC patient portal and mobile app that helps you manage and access your health information anywhere, anytime. With MyUPMC, you can view test results, schedule and manage appointments, message your provider, have a video visit, set up an e-visit with eDermatology, pay bills, and more!

This specialized team is dedicated to helping you with all the free digital health care tools UPMC Health Plan offers.

1Members who are in Pennsylvania at the time of a virtual visit may select a UPMC-employed provider, subject to availability and discretion of the provider. Members located outside of Pennsylvania at the time of service or those who select Talk Therapy or Psychiatry services will receive care from a provider employed or contracted by Online Care Network II PC (OCN), also known as Amwell Medical Group. It is at the discretion of OCN providers to choose whether to treat patients ages 0 to 2. OCN is not an affiliate of UPMC. Limitations may apply for members of ASO plans who have opted out of coverage. Talk Therapy or Psychiatry services through AnywhereCare are not covered services for UPMC Community HealthChoices participants, UPMC for You members, or UPMC for Kids members. UPMC Children’s AnywhereCare is not available outside of Pennsylvania. If a member is under the age of 18, the member’s parent or legal guardian must be with the member during the video portion of the visit, and the child and parent or legal guardian must be in Pennsylvania during the visit. Providers are not available to treat members who are in Puerto Rico."

3RxWell is available at no cost to UPMC Health Plan members who are 14 or older.
4MyUPMC is available to UPMC patients only. Your health information will not appear in MyUPMC if you receive care from participating providers who are outside of the UPMC system. MyUPMC is not available for central Pennsylvania patients. UPMC Carlisle, UPMC Hanover, UPMC Lititz, UPMC Memorial, UPMC Harrisburg, UPMC West Shore, and UPMC Community Osteopathic can use the UPMC Central Pa. Portal for patient information.
