Personal Plan Reviews
Make a personal appointment at one of our UPMC Health Plan Connect Centers! A Health Care Concierge will review your current UPMC for Life plan, help you understand what’s new and improved for 2024, and make sure your plan is still the best fit for you. We also offer virtual Personal Plan Reviews so you can still get the dedicated customer service you need from the comfort of home.
Personal Plan Reviews will be offered every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. throughout October, November, and December. See the complete list of available dates below. Appointments are preferred, but not required.

National Senior Health and Fitness Day

All events are free for UPMC for Life members. Admission at the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium and Erie Zoo is free for all UPMC for Life members and anyone age 60 or older. Make sure to bring your UPMC for Life member ID card with you.
Check Your Fit First Fridays
Join us for our Check Your Fit First Fridays events taking place on the first Friday of each month from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at a Connect Center near you. Health educators will be on-site to address health-related questions and distribute literature. Plus, free preventive screenings will be available for members.
Garden Walks at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden
UPMC for Life members and one guest can walk through the botanical garden once a month at no cost! Visit the garden 9 to 11 a.m. every second Tuesday starting June 13th through Oct. 10th. Make sure to bring your member ID card to show to the UPMC staff at check-in. You do not need to RSVP.

Meet and greet with Rocky Bleier at the Carnegie Museum of Art
Join us at the Carnegie Museum of Art on Wednesday, Sept. 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Browse the museum and stop by the Founder’s Room to meet Steelers legend and decorated veteran Rocky Bleier! You can also enjoy the following activities:
- Chair and wheelchair yoga sessions
- Guided 3 in 30 tours—a visit to three works of art in 30 minutes with one of our knowledgeable and friendly docents
- Chat with Angela Perri, Chief Medicare Officer at UPMC Health Plan
UPMC for Life members will receive a $10 voucher for light refreshments at the Fossil Fuel Café or Café Carnegie. Free parking will be available in the museum’s parking lot. Just mention you’re there for the UPMC for Life member event!

Meet and greet with Rocky Bleier at Warner Theatre
Join us at the Warner Theatre on Monday, Oct. 2, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Meet Steelers legend and decorated veteran Rocky Bleier! You can also enjoy the following activities:
- A short presentation by Rocky Bleier on aging well in times of adversity at 10:30 a.m.
- Free flu shots
- Guided tours of the newly renovated theatre

Powerful Tools for Caregivers
Join two experienced class leaders as they walk you through lessons, discussions, and brainstorming sessions that will help you build the skills you need to thrive as a caregiver. Classes are held virtually, once a week for six weeks. All you need are a valid email address and a computer with a camera and microphone. RSVP by calling your Health Care Concierge team at the phone number on your member ID card. Space for each class is limited! Please make sure you can commit to attending all six sessions.

This new podcast will feature speakers who are experts in caregiving, mental health, stress management, and more. Tune in at noon on any of the following dates:
How to join:
- If you haven’t already, create an account for the Virtual Senior Academy. Simply click Sign Up then follow the prompts.
- You can register for an upcoming podcast up to one month in advance by selecting Classes and then Course Catalog at the top of the Virtual Senior Academy homepage.
- On the day of the podcast, log in to your Virtual Senior Academy account. You will see all the classes you have registered for. Click Join to be connected to the podcast.
Wellness Wednesdays
The Wellness Center for Bone & Joint Health will offer information and activities that can help you manage or prevent osteoarthritis and build strong bones. Stop by on the first Wednesday of each month between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
