Your child's UPMC for Kids membership includes access to MyHealth OnLine and UPMC Children's AnywhereCare. These services let you use a computer or mobile device to manage your child's benefits and get care for your child day or night.
MyHealth OnLine
This secure, easy-to-use website gives you 24/7 access to your child's benefits information. The site also allows you to:
- Search for doctors and pharmacies.
- See what drugs are covered by your child's insurance plan.
- Find health care resources for your child.
- Chat with a Health Care Concierge.
- Pay your bill if you have a monthly premium.
To get started, sign in to or register for MyHealth OnLine by completing and submitting the online form. You’ll need your child’s member ID card. If you have more than one child enrolled with UPMC for Kids, you must register for access to MyHealth OnLine for each child.
UPMC Children's AnywhereCare*
UPMC Health Plan's telemedicine service—UPMC Children's AnywhereCare—has expanded to offer care to children of all ages. With UPMC Children's AnywhereCare, children ages 0-17 can have virtual visits 24/7 with UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh providers over live video. Members 18 and older will continue to use UPMC AnywhereCare.
UPMC Children's AnywhereCare is perfect for problems such as a sore throat, cough, runny nose, sinus infection, cold or flu symptoms, back pain, and poison ivy. Simply sign in and describe your symptoms. You will be connected to a provider—often within minutes—who can provide you with a diagnosis and care plan. You can even get a prescription if needed.
UPMC Children's AnywhereCare offers these and other benefits:

The new UPMC Health Plan Virtual Concierge makes it easier than ever to get the answers you need about your child’s benefits!
Our Virtual Concierge is available 24/7 and can help you learn about:
- Commonly used health insurance terms.
- Telehealth services, such as UPMC Children's AnywhereCare.
- UPMC for Kids member benefits and services.
The Virtual Concierge can share information out loud and send you messages with helpful links. Just tell your smart home device to "ask UPMC Health Plan."
Teach the child in your life about vaccines with our Daniel Tiger audio story
Immunizations or vaccines are a key part of keeping children as healthy as possible. Many children may be scared of getting vaccinated. We can help! We’re proud to partner with Fred Rogers Productions to offer a free audio story in which Daniel Tiger talks about being brave when he gets a shot. The story is great for children who are age 6 or younger. You can listen to it together before your child gets a well-visit immunization, flu shot, or COVID-19 vaccine or booster.

*UPMC Children’s AnywhereCare is available only to patients who are in Pennsylvania. In order for a child to have a UPMC Children’s AnywhereCare visit, the child’s parent or legal guardian must be with the child during the video portion of the visit, and the child and parent or legal guardian must be in Pennsylvania during the visit. If a child is located outside of Pennsylvania at the time of service, their parent or legal guardian may select the standard UPMC AnywhereCare module, and the child will receive care from a provider employed or contracted by Online Care Network II PC (OCN), also known as Amwell Medical Group, at the discretion of the provider. OCN is not an affiliate of UPMC. Providers are not available to treat members who are in Puerto Rico.
**UPMC for Kids members who are in Pennsylvania at the time of a virtual visit may select a UPMC- employed provider, subject to availability and discretion of the provider. Members temporarily traveling outside of Pennsylvania at the time of service will receive care from a provider employed or contracted by Online Care Network II PC (OCN), also known as Amwell Medical Group. OCN is not an affiliate of UPMC.
