Whether you have a question about claims, need to find a doctor, or just need to have something explained, we’re here for you.

A Health Care Concierge can help you:

  • Find a doctor or other provider.
  • Get answers to benefit questions and explain how your health plan works.
  • Check to see if a prescription drug is covered.
  • Schedule important preventive care appointments.

LGBTQIA+ Health Care Concierges

At UPMC Health Plan, we are committed to helping all our members fully understand their benefits, access services, and resources that can help them live their healthiest life.

The Health Plan never loses sight of the fact that our LGBTQIA+ members often face significant health care-related challenges, so we created a Member Services team that’s dedicated to serving this community. This award-winning team is committed to answering members’ health insurance-related questions and addressing their concerns.

UPMC Health Plan members who are interested in learning more about LGBTQIA+ Member Services can call a Health Care Concierge at 1-844-202-0126 (TTY: 711) or dial the phone number on their insurance card. Help is available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Human Rights Campaign Foundation

UPMC Health Plan and Community Care Behavioral Health Organization (Community Care) have received the top score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's 2023-2024 Corporate Equality Index, the nation's foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality. This is the sixth consecutive year that UPMC Health Plan has earned the award and the fifth year for Community Care.
