J.D. Power Recognizes UPMC Health Plan as #1 in Member Satisfaction Among Commercial Plans

Pittsburgh (July 23, 2024) – UPMC Health Plan announced today that it has once again been recognized as #1 in member satisfaction among commercial health plans in Pennsylvania by J.D. Power.

UPMC Health Plan is among an elite group of certified organizations in the United States who have earned this prestigious recognition. This also marks the fifth time* that UPMC Health Plan has earned this recognition.

The J.D. Power U.S. Commercial Member Health Plan Study, now in its 18th year, was redesigned for 2024. The study measures satisfaction among members of 147 health plans in 22 regions throughout the United States based on performance in eight core dimensions on a poor-to-perfect rating scale. UPMC Health Plan has the highest overall satisfaction score in the state and leads all other PA carriers in the following seven dimensions:
