Please join us for a live, CME-accredited webinar on Tuesday, Feb. 3, that will educate clinicians on providing compassionate and culturally sensitive care to fasting patients during Ramadan.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize the unique health risks fasting poses to patients during Ramadan, such as dehydration, glycemic emergencies, and exacerbation of chronic conditions.
  • Respect and accommodate patients’ spiritual beliefs while navigating ethical dilemmas in clinical care.
  • Apply culturally sensitive communication strategies to engage fasting patients in shared decision-making regarding their health.
