Voluntary nationwide recall: Eye drops (Rugby)

The Harvard Drug Group LLC has recalled certain lots of Rugby brand eye drops because of bacteria found in certain samples of product. The bacteria could cause eye infections that result in partial vision loss or blindness. As of October 1, 2025, UPMC Health Plan continues to accept the submission of telehealth claims. Providers may conduct telehealth visits for UPMC Health Plan members in all UPMC Insurance products.
