Insulet Corporation has recalled the Omnipod 5 system. This device is a tubeless insulin delivery system for use in patients with diabetes.This does not impact the Omnipod 5 Pod, the Omnipod® DASH Insulin Management System, the Omnipod® Insulin Management System, or compatible Android smartphone devices that have the Omnipod 5 App installed. Microsoft changes and security enhancements will soon require Provider OnLine users to complete multi-factor authentication (MFA) each time they log in to access the portal. MFA is a security feature that adds an extra layer of protection by requiring more than just a password. This MFA requirement is expected to take effect on June 25, 2026.
