CME webinar: Oral Health in Your Pediatric Office

Please join us for a live, CME-accredited webinar on Wednesday, March 12, from noon to 1 p.m. that will provide an overview of oral health in your pediatric office. Providers with a(n) MD/DO, PA, CRNP, RN, LPN may also apply for topical fluoride certification after completion of this course. By the end of this presentation, viewers will have learned how to:

  • Recognize the impact of oral health on the overall well-being of children.
  • Explain the etiology and progression of early childhood caries (ECC).
  • Integrate oral health care practices in all visits.
  • Provide effective anticipatory guidance to parents and caregivers, including the importance of visits with a dental professional.
  • Understand the role of fluoride in prevention of decay.
  • Apply topical fluoride varnish.
