Media Alert: UPMC Health Plan to Host Small Diverse Business Program Event on March 20

Event will introduce Small Diverse Business program to new and existing UPMC partners in the Harrisburg region

WHAT:	UPMC Health Plan, in partnership with UPMC Pinnacle, will introduce its new Small Diverse Business (SDB) program as part of an upcoming outreach and networking event. During the seminar, participants will learn about UPMC Health Plan’s SDB strategy with the goal of increasing awareness and participation in the new program. The event in Mechanicsburg is the second of a three-part series of UPMC Health Plan’s SDB outreach events across Pennsylvania. An initial event was held in Pittsburgh in January and an upcoming event in Philadelphia is being planned for this spring.
WHO:	The event is geared toward new and existing UPMC Health Plan vendors as well as community partners and members of the local media.
